RESTING METABOLIC ANALYSIS.

WHAT IS IT?

Resting Metabolic Analysis measures the volume and ratio of inspired oxygen and expired carbon dioxide at rest via your breath, identifying the precise amount of calories you burn at rest, along with the ratio of fat / carbohydrate utilised.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

The assessment is performed in a relaxed seated position. During the test, our state of the art medical grade laboratory equipment measures your breathing and evaluates its composition.

WHY IS IT USEFUL?

WHAT DO I GET?

Following your assessment you will receive a detailed report interpreting your test results, along with the amount of calories you should be consuming and the best macronutrient ratio to use in order to lose, maintain or gain weight and/or improve performance.

ACTIVE METABOLIC ANALYSIS.

WHAT IS IT?

Active Metabolic Analysis measures your body's ability to obtain and utilise oxygen during exercise, identifying your current level of cardiovascular fitness along with the physiological datapoints required to improve performance via the use of personalised training zones.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

The test commences at a moderate intensity and the speed on a treadmill, or resistance on a stationary bicycle, is increased at one minute intervals until you reach maximum effort and are no longer able to continue. During the test, our state of the art, medical grade laboratory equipment measures your ability to obtain and utilise oxygen to produce energy, along with the amount of calories burned and the ratio of fat / carbohydrate utilised.
